So, you want to start a revolution?
Do you want to stand up and have your say?
Want to give answers but no solution?
You want a change to come without delay?
Does explaining make you feel like a tool?
You want conversations that go one way?
Want to challenge the incompetent’s rule?
Think the masses are under the wrong crown?
Does guilt and social pressure sound useful?
Tired of being greeted with a frown?
You want to back those fighting the good fights?
Want to use any pretense to take down?
Want to declare who receives equal rights?
Want the bad guys take account for their sins?
Got revisionist history in sights?
Want bring down your tyrannical kings?
Drag them straight to the depths of the Nine Hells?
Want to decide who loses and who wins?
Want the timid to come out of their shells?
Tell them their voice matters and they’re a gem?
Sick of being happy for someone else?
You got a cause no one would dare condemn?
You, for said cause, prepared to travel far?
You want someone else to be the problem?
Will you face down every critic bizarre?
You have many comebacks primed and ready?
Want to decide who the outsiders are?
Do you have any plans post-victory?
Why give such a possibility thought?
For what’s a fighter with no enemy?

The Fine Art of Exclusion (Redux)
The power to exclude: The sweetest thing
An intoxication few can refuse
It divides the lies from which truth to use
Decides who will lose and who’ll be winning
The power to exclude: It writes the rules
Heaven help you if you’re on the wrong side
It welcomes the down-trodden with arms wide
Promotes inclusion just not with the fools
The power to exclude: Puts me in charge
Decides who will speak and who to ignore
Saves me from the scum. Make me something more
Makes me drown out anyone, small or large
The power to exclude. You know it’s true
And if you held it you’d do the same too

The Fine Art of Exclusion
I will tell
you how things work in this life
What needs
to be said. What we need to do
I’m for
inclusiveness when it’s not with you
And I bet
this knowledge cuts like a knife
The crowd I
lead is the one that’s correct
Heaven help
you if you’re on the wrong side
I’ll welcome
the down-trodden with arms wide
Disagree
with me, if once, and you’re wrecked
I have time for them but you? I ignore
I don't care about what's holding you back
Your weakness is showing so I attack
You just keep on being you. Close the door
This is my truth
and this is what I do
And admit
it: you would do the same too

Untitled (II)
See the one
face you have seen every day
Run errands because
they won’t leave the house
Hear many stories
‘bout their ex, the louse
Have fights
that end with them getting their way
Lending
money, no return when it’s due
Being powerless
when they throw a fit
Do things
through being made to feel like shit
Demands to
know where you go, what you do
Have friends
concerned for you left on the shelves
Be forbid
from seeing your family
Be told, yet
again, that “You complete me”
Only staying
so they don't hurt themselves
Face a truth
too ingrained to break this curse
The truth
that loneliness is so much worse
