Introduction

 Hello. I am the Alchemist and this is my blog.

I have had a love for poetry that has stretched for many years and I think it's time the rest of the world knew it. Therefore this blog is aimed at providing an archive of the many poems I have written over two decades+ of writing.

What you are about to see in this blog, is a variety of material covering a range of topics. I tackle any subject - provided I have something to say of course - and each topic will be categorized with the post labels.
Also, I work within the restrictions of the sonnet format. No real reason why: I just heard it wasn't an easy format to work with so I took it as a challenge worth rising up to.
Much of this material was written years ago and I make no secret of it. In any case, what will be found within this blog stretches back years and shows a voice evolving over time. In any case, this is a voice that needed to be heard so hence this blog.

Please be advised that much of the material was a method of self-expression in a world full of confusion. So yes there will be some personal stuff ahead and content that people may find difficult to confront or even offensive.
So you have been warned: True some of the posts ahead may not make for pretty stories but they are stories that need to be told nonetheless.
