In a winter forest I heard a song
It came resonating through all the trees
A song that could impress, astound and tease
I walked on, the sound guiding me along
The song led me to a thicket small
And a woman the likes I’ve never seen
Her flesh was smooth and coloured pale green
Her eyes blazed, her hair a black waterfall
She moved like her feet never touched the ground
And with her voice dead planets grew into bloom
Flowers emitted the scent of perfume
Of her pure voice, new life grew to the sound
I didn’t speak a word for I felt it wrong
I sat and I listened to the dryad’s song
